1. Will my health insurance cover the cost of the procedure?
About 40% of insurance companies cover cranial prothesis or medical wigs. We will assist you in determining if your insurance covers our treatment plan.
2. I am losing my hair…what could I be doing wrong?
Losing hair can be caused by many reasons. Stress, medication , diet, illness , alopecia...... it’s always good to go see your dermatologist.
3. How long does it take to grow my hair back?
Healthy hair grows at a rate of 6 inches a year.
4. How do you handle the virus situation?
Healthy Hair Alternative take all precautions to keep clients and stylist safe. Masks are worn. Capes and towels disposable. The room is completely sanitized after each client.
5. Generally how long does the procedure take…do I have get several treatments?
Consultation is the first step. Once we are clear on what the client wants we will set a date for the client to come in for the new you day.
6. Will my hair keep growing for the rest of my life?
Hair will grow as long at the follicles are not closed. Once the follicles are closed the hair will no longer grow in that area.
7. Will people know I have had a hair procedure?
No one will ever know that you are wearing hair . With our technique and experience we assure you that the hair piece is undetectable.
8. Is there any pain in the process at anytime?
There is absolutely no pain at all
9. If I start the process and then have to leave on business or an emergency, will that be a problem
If you are ever out of town and in need of service. Let us know and we can find a provider near where you are.
10. Can I use my regular barber or do I have to come back to you?
You can resume your regular haircare activities, however you will have to come in for maintenance.
